From the management of advertising space came the idea in the 1970s to expand the means available through sponsorships and the exploitation of racing cars and boats as well as the restoration of historic cars.

Starting in 1986, SCI participated in the “prototype” world championship sponsored by Amaretto di Saronno, an old billboard customer, Berkeley Hotels, Laurent Perrier, Armani Moda and Emporio, Porto Kaleo, and Aci-Csai Italia.
